This website is run by KodeKind S.R.L., registered office Str. Mihail Kogălniceanu, Camera 1, Bl. C8, Et. 4, Ap. 16, Timișoara, Timiș, tax ID RO54603957, trade register J2026028952000 ("KodeKind", "we"). We decide what data is collected here and why.

When you write to us through the contact form or the project outline on /start, we store what you type: your name, email and message, and, only if you give them, your company and phone number, and whether you would rather we call.

With each message we also store, automatically: the page you sent it from, your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself). We use these only to spot spam and abuse.

We collect nothing more than we need to reply to you and keep the site running.

We use your details for one thing: to read your message and get back to you. No newsletters, no profiling, no selling it on.

The lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form.

Analytics load only after you opt in through the consent banner. Until then, no tracking cookie is set and no analytics request is sent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

We keep your messages, and the email notification we receive for each one, for 12 months after your last message to us, then delete them. If you become a client, what we need for the work and for invoicing is kept under the contract and the law instead.

You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time (see Your rights).

You have the right to see the data we hold about you, get a copy of it in a portable format, have it corrected or deleted, limit how we use it, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawing does not undo what was done before).

To make a request, email [email protected]. We answer within one month, free of charge. To make sure we never hand your data to someone else, we reply only to the email address stored with your messages.

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to Romania's data protection authority, ANSPDCP (https://www.dataprotection.ro). We would rather you told us first, so we can fix it.

The site and its database run on our own server at Hetzner, in the EU (Germany).

A few providers process data on our behalf, each only for its job: Cloudflare (traffic protection and delivery; it sees every visitor's IP address), Resend (sends us the notification email with your message), Hostico (Romania; hosts the inbox those notifications land in) and, only if you accept analytics, Google (Google Analytics 4).

Cloudflare, Resend and Google are US companies. Where your data leaves the EU, it does so under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
